Our browser extension collects a limited set of data points focused exclusively on SaaS application usage:

  • Login events: When you log into supported SaaS applications

  • Application identifiers: Which SaaS applications from our database you access

  • Usage frequency: How often you use each SaaS application

What We DON'T Collect

We believe in collecting only what's necessary. We DO NOT collect:

  • Personal browsing history

  • Passwords or login credentials

  • Content of your work within applications

  • Any data from non-SaaS websites or personal browsing

  • Any sensitive personal information

How We Use Your Data

The data we collect serves a single, specific purpose: optimizing your organization's SaaS licenses and reducing unnecessary costs. We use this data to:

  1. Categorize usage levels: Identify if licenses are used actively, moderately, or infrequently

  2. Provide usage insights: Help administrators understand organization-wide SaaS utilization

  3. Identify optimization opportunities: Highlight underutilized licenses that could be reassigned or discontinued

Data Privacy and User Control

Pseudonymization (optional)

We employ pseudonymization techniques to protect your privacy:

  • Active and moderately active users are represented by anonymous identifiers (e.g., "User 1")

  • Only when a user is classified as inactive will administrators have the option to request contact

  • This ensures privacy by default while enabling necessary license management actions

    This option is currently under construction.

User Control

You maintain control over your data:

  • Data is stored locally during the day and only transmitted every 24 hours

  • You can view your own usage data and insights

  • You can request deletion of your data at any time

GDPR Compliance

Our data practices are designed with GDPR compliance as a priority:

  • Data Minimization: We collect only what's necessary for the stated purpose

  • Purpose Limitation: Data is used solely for SaaS license optimization

  • Storage Limitation: Data is retained only as long as necessary

  • Right to Access: You can request a copy of your data at any time

  • Right to be Forgotten: We will delete your data upon request

  • Data Security: All data is encrypted during transmission and storage

Shared Account Handling

For shared accounts, we implement special measures to maintain privacy:

  • Browser/profile tracking helps differentiate between users

  • Optional session tagging allows users to identify their role when using shared accounts

  • Aggregated data shows usage patterns without compromising individual privacy

We believe in full transparency about data usage:

  • Changes to our data collection practices will be communicated clearly
